Our Team

Raised in a small community south of Camrose, Jalene moved to the County of Vermilion River area in 2010 to reside with her husband. After a few years of working in Lloydminster she decided to devote her time to her young family by staying home with their children.  In January of 2019 Jalene joined CLASS as the Program Coordinator, in September 2020 she became CEO.  Jalene is very excited about continuing to share her passion for helping others and learning. She is looking forward to all the future has to offer with our organization.

I was born and raised in Vermilion, after a few years of city life I returned to Vermilion, married my husband Jon and we now live on a farm north of Vermilion. I have three beautiful daughters that keep my very busy with school sports, dance, and hockey. You can find us at the lake, outside with the horses and animals or visiting with family. I love being involved in the community and my kid’s activities. I have a passion for people and I look forward to working with all members of the community in my role here at CLASS.

Joins us from the neighboring community of Mannville where she lives with her husband, 2 children, and their dog. When Shantell is not at work she can be found enjoying her flowers and garden in the summer or chasing kids sports throughout the year. She brings enthusiasm for learning and community enhancement. Shantell looks forward to getting to know more members of the Vermilion community and learning along with you.
